Title: Search for Reverend Puka.
Post by: Mana on September 21, 2009, 10:14:30 PM
I am Mana from Fiji and I am kinda new to this site. I am looking for a very close friend of my fathers and yes of my family. I can only remember him as Reverend Puka and him and his family were the first Samoans we met.
About 20 years ago, my father was a missionary in Arnthem Land (Australia- NT) where he served the Abrogines people.
I had 6 siblings at that time. My father past away soon afterwards.
Reverend Puka and his family (wife and two daughters) stayed with us for a while before my father passed on and I would like to get to meet them again and organise an extended family tour to Samoa (should we find them).
All I remember was that he was always happy and his wife was so supportive. His two daughters were known to be the fastest athlete on the main land (Darwin).
If anyone knows where I can maybe find Reverend Puka's family I would be so happy. I just never got to say thank you to him and his family.
my guess is that Reverend Puka would be around 50-60 years of age now.
