Updated images from the Samoan tsunami and recovery (http://www.abc.net.au/news/photos/#id=2700730&num=11) from ABC news Australia

A few images from the series that can be seen on their site:

A makeshift memorial pays tribute to schoolgirl Pu Hee Woo who was killed in the tsunami devastated village of Asili in American Samoa on October 3, 2009. Ferocious waves were unleashed by a 8.0-magnitude undersea quake, which rattled the region on September 29, leaving as many as 180 people dead in American Samoa, neighbouring Samoa and the Pacific island nation of Tonga.

A damaged boat sits inside a building in Pago Pago on American Samoa, after an 8.0-magnitude earthquake struck in the early morning offshore, causing a tsunami to strike the island, September 29, 2009.
