Title: can i get a samoan tattoo even though iam not samoan?

hi i wanted to know if i can get a samoan tattoo even though iam not samoan ..iam married to a samoan and i always loved samoan tattoos..i want some opinions plz ;)

I think the issue is not so much Samoan or non-Samoan, but perhaps male vs. female.
Tattoos are a strongly male tradition in Samoa.

At least in the old days. It was a painful rite of passage to show bravery and be worthy of honor.

Now I suppose it can also be simply body decoration.

Were you thinking about the traditional tattoo from waist to knees?

I never saw a woman with that, but maybe you would be the first :)

Samoan women can have tattoos, but usually more elegant than men.
