"Talofa & Manuia le Taeao"  Forgive me if my greeting is incorrect.

Hello & Greetings from Australia.

Please may I introduce myself, my name is Bob I am Scottish 73 years old but I live in Melbourne with my wife Judy, I am a member of the Australian Golf Heritage Society and I am currently collecting & Documenting the history of golf being played around the world, I do this by collecting a golf club scorecard from each and every country or island that plays golf.

I have in my collection scorecards from over 250 countries and islands of the world in my collection but I am now concentrating on the Pacific Islands, and I am trying to obtain a scorecard from your beautiful American Samoa and the Ill Ill Golf Club and if possible the year when it first opened.

If anyone could please help me to obtain a scorecard from this golf club I would be very grateful and willing to send you the stamps for the postage, I hope that I have not offeded canyone by my unusual post I wish you all peace & Good Will.

Tofa Soifua & La Manuia Le Kerisimasi Ma Le Tausaga Fou"  I pray that is correct

Bob Davies.

If you are looking for something cheap but still good there are some local accommodation spots (I recommend you stay around Apia in Upolu, everything is close by)

As for best Island I would go with Savai'i, unlike Upolu the main island - Savaii still remains fairly untouched, pristine beaches and traditional Samoan ways. Form of transport would be via ferry but I warn you it is quite rough lol (Also suggest the swimming with turtles there :) )

Others would post about other countries but I only know about Samoa - Cheers :)

My family want to go on holiday this year, I'm 17, my brother is 19 and my parents are in their mid 50's, and we would like to go to an island. My mum is keen on fiji, but I quite like Samoa because i have heard some people say Fiji is snobby, and Samoa is quite natural. Also what are some cool things you guys have done, i would love to surf and swim with turtles, and mum and dad really want somewhere with safe beachs (they are quite anal haha) for my bro who is downs, we enjoyed rarotonga, thanks heaps!!:)

That was a very sad story. huge total of casualties are expeceted if an area is affeceted by a Tsunami. Tsunami is a result of global warming too. i think mother nature would like us to learn something that we people are already abusing. God will heal!
