Books in 10 island languages
« on: May 18, 2016, 01:46:28 PM »
The Institute of Education based in the University of the South Pacific In Fiji covers a few educational programs, one of which is our publications unit.

The Institute of Education are publishers of local and regional authors who base their stories on Pacific Island Cultures which makes it have a personal approach towards children who grew up or are from Pacific Island countries. The books range from educational to research material, journals and children’s books labelled “waka” story books. The publications are printed in 10 different languages, from English, Samoan, Niuean, Kiribati, Tuvaluan, Bislama, Fijian etc.

The Institute of Education believes in getting all Pacific Islanders to understand their culture and traditions through the use of educational books, children’s story books written in one’s own language.

I thank you for taking the time to read this email and for taking into consideration what the Institute of Education is trying to achieve. Thank you again and may you have a good day.
