What is the Samoan term for 'taking a leave'. For example, When a Samoan just walks out and is gone for a few days, what is the Samoan term for this?
Why? I lived in Apia in the mid 70's and occasionally a worker would just take a leave for a few days. I presently live in the Bay area and work with Miss Natasha Niusulu who when becoming stressed just walked out. She was wondering, why she just did this. She almost lost her job. I told her it was in her genes. She laughed and wanted to know, what is this?
