31 Cohort graduates honored in Utulei

the commencement ceremony for the University of Hawai’i Cohort Graduation Spring 2009 was held May 22 at at H. Rex Lee Auditorium (Fale Laumei) in Utulei.

Lieutenant Governor Faoa congratulated the 31 graduates – 23 teachers received their Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education, 4 received their Master of Education in Curriculum Studies, and 4 received their Master of Education in Educational Foundations.

 Lieutenant Governor Faoa’s Graduation spoke in English and Samoan, "This is a day of thanksgiving; a day to celebrate and to reflect upon the many blessings that Our Loving God has bestowed upon us here in our small territory."
