Governor Togiola Tulafono issued his annual greeting for all Dads on  Father’s Day this Sunday, June 21st.

“Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads of American Samoa. And also to all those who fill the role of Dad in our island home.

There is a special pride that comes with being a Dad and it has lots of wonderful rewards wrapped with love, honor and respect.

We offer a special thank you to all Fathers and an even more special thanks to all mothers for the love and care that Dad receives daily.

May God bless all fathers and the difficult job they continue to do in caring for our respective families. May Our Heavenly Father lighten our load of burdens that we individually carry and allow it to make all of us Dads better fathers, better husbands and better protectors and providers because it is His Will. May God’s love and guidance strengthen the bonds of fathers and their families on this very special day.

On behalf of Mary, Lieutenant Governor Faoa and Mrs. Elisapeta Sunia and all of our children, we wish all Dads of American Samoa good health, long life and a very Happy Father’s Day. May God bless you and your families.
